Melpro ("we", "us") builds communication and automation systems for local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle text messaging.
Information we collect
When you contact us, or when you interact with a business that uses a Melpro system, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the content of your calls, texts, chats or form submissions, and appointment details. We collect this to respond to your request, schedule appointments and provide customer service.
How we use information
- To answer and route calls, texts and chats on behalf of the business you contacted
- To confirm, reschedule or follow up on appointments and quotes
- To improve the reliability and accuracy of our systems
Text messaging (SMS/MMS)
- Consent. You opt in to receive text messages by calling a business that uses Melpro, by submitting a web form that includes consent to receive texts, or by texting the business first.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. You may receive up to 10 messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the email below.
- No sharing of mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We share information only with the business you are communicating with and with service providers (telephony, AI, calendar and hosting providers) that process it on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.
